Tips For Using Masking Tape

• Don't stretch masking tape. Over time it may creep back to its unstretched length.
• Make your removal process easier by creating a short non-sticky tab at the end of the tape. Just double the tape back onto itself
• Press the edge of the tape down with a squeegee or your thumbnail so paint won't leak underneath.
• If the masking tape dries out and leaves a residue, it can be removed with M1 Adhesive Remover.
• Use painters grade masking tape if it is going to be in place for more than a day.
• Don't tape over freshly painted surfaces, even if they appear to be dry. This may trap solvents under the tape, causing fading.
